Heading into future seasons:

Player salary commitments in future years

The 2007-2008 Off-Season Shopping Guide: Most valuable potential free agents with predictions, Complete list of potential free agents, List of potential trade candidates, List of potential non-tenders, List of players eligible for arbitration, Future salary commitments, Team budgets, needs and projected rosters, Managerial, ownership and coaching changes, Free agency rules, & Trading rules

For purposes of this list, buyouts on options are considered guaranteed and in the season of the buyout. For instance, a player has an option for 2008 or a buyout. The buyout is considered a 2008 commitment. Players not under contract, such as arbitration-eligibles or 0-3 players, are not considered as commitments until they officially sign contracts. Signing bonuses are not considered prorated over the life of the deal, unless otherwise stipulated in a player's contract. Dead money is included in future commitments, where possible. Deferrals are included (except for the ones paid out in 2016, 2020, etc).

Please use the following figures as a guide rather than absolute fact. Some figures may not include escalators or may include incorrect figures or miscalculations.
